L'Chaim

Shawn Green has always been one of my favorite Dodgers, even as he was slowly transformed from a slugging superstar into Eric Karros. He's not a flashy primadonna, he's just a down-to-earth guy with a good head on his shoulders. That was never more evident than when he came to the
difficult decision regarding the two games to be played on Yom Kippur. People who say he shouldn't be skipping any games at all need to get their priorities straightened out. People who say he should skip both games need to get a realistic view of what he means to the team.

Shawn made the right decision. I'm proud of him.
